Agrivo’s investment in Indonesia bears fruit
After only four months since its acquisition in November 2017, Agrivo International harvested its first batch of watermelons in March 2018 from its farm in Batam, Indonesia. The plantation in Batam plays a strategic role to provide Food Security since most food, goods and services comes from Jakarta, Indonesia which is over 1,000 kilometers away.
It was a fantabulous trip down to Batam for the top management from Agrivo International who spent the day witnessing the harvest and getting a taste of the fresh produce. With the yield sent for distribution locally to the supermarkets, hotels and restaurants, and the next batch of seeds planted, we can’t wait for June to come for the next harvest and also, to plant the papaya plants in May!
